Gap Intra-Day & Voice Intra-Day Gap

Intra-day gaps are sometimes a sign that a move has reached exhaustion. Use them only when a move is under-way, with confirmation, and you should stay out of trouble.

In the example below we show two intra-day gap signals. The one on the left shows a bearish gap at the top of a move (which was also a doji.) The bullish intra-day gap on the right-bottom (itself) had a long lower stem, and is followed by a doji with a long lower stem.

If the only confirmation you had on these two signals were the doji's, they are fine. Add additional things - like some of our other (Shem's MACD, Shem's RSI, and divergence) tools and you have two very solid signals. You add them to your charts and Beth manages it all.
